My MAC PRO CARD :-)

I have always been a lover of MAC cosmetics and I would recommend products to anyone who asked from their company.  When I began my makeup artist journey about a year ago, all I wanted was MAC products.  However, as most people know,  MAC can be a little expensive for complete looks or regular products.  I found out that MAC along with other companies, offer discount programs for artists and others in the field of makeup.  I decided to apply for a MAC card but I waited to collect all my necessary documentation to send it all in. About a month ago, I sent in several documents stating my profession as a Makeup Artist along with my membership fee to MAC Cosmetics.  I can admit that I was very nervous about the process and all the information that is needed just for them to make a decision if you qualify.  I had heard that it could take up to 6-8 weeks for a final decision which would of course drive me crazy to wait that long.  But I got my decision TODAY and I GOT MY MAC PRO CARD!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!  I woke up to an email congratulating me and providing me with my number and instructions to use it online if I wanted to.  I was thrilled and it made me feel so great to know that MAC recognized my talent and that now I am able to purchase more products for a discount.  Well later this afternoon, as I checked my mailbox, I was even more excited to find my MAC Pro Card ready and waiting for me :-).  What a GREAT Day to be a makeup artist!!!!! :-)
